Techniques for extending the lifespan of the bag filter pulse valve

Prolonging the service life of the bag filter pulse valve is the key to ensuring the efficient operation of the dust removal system and reducing maintenance costs.

1. Avoid low air tank pressure or unstable air source: Insufficient or fluctuating air source pressure will affect the normal operation of the pulse valve, resulting in a shortened service life. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the stability of the gas source pressure and install a pressure stabilizing device when necessary.

2. Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly inspect the wiring, voltage stability and the condition of spare parts of the pulse valve, and replace faulty components in a timely manner. For instance, the rubber diaphragm of the pulse valve should be inspected weekly. Regular replacement of the diaphragm can significantly extend the service life of the filter bag. In addition, disassembling and cleaning the diaphragm every month and replacing the sealing ring every quarter are also effective measures to extend the service life of the pulse valve.

3. Keep clean air entering the valve body: The air entering the valve body should be as clean as possible to prevent impurities from entering the internal structure. For instance, in environments with temperature differences, an oil-water separator should be used to prevent water condensation from causing the filter bags to clog. Meanwhile, it should be ensured that the gas source has undergone oil and water removal treatment, and the filtration accuracy is less than 5μm.

4. Control temperature and humidity: The working temperature of the pulse valve should not be lower than -10℃ to prevent material embrittlement caused by low temperature. In addition, when the box temperature is 25℃ lower than the dew point, the dust adhesion rate will increase significantly. Measures should be taken to prevent the formation of condensation water. At the same time, it should be avoided to operate in a high-humidity environment to prevent condensation on the surface of the filter bags, which may affect the dust cleaning effect.

5. Reasonably adjust the injection parameters: The frequency and duration of pulse injection have a significant impact on the service life of the pulse valve. The injection parameters should be adjusted according to the actual operation conditions to ensure the ash cleaning effect while reducing the impact on the pulse valve. For example, the pulse frequency should be adjusted to keep the pressure difference of the collector between 3 and 6 inches of water column.

6. Select the appropriate pulse valve structure: The use of low-resistance pulse valves can reduce the energy consumption of the injection system and extend the service life of the pulse valves and filter bags at the same time. In addition, the electromagnetic pulse valve adopts a double diaphragm structure, featuring sensitive control, high efficiency and long service life.

7. Installation and design optimization: The pulse valve should be installed horizontally. The output port should be concentric with the valve body and must not be offset or tilted. The blow pipe should be equipped with reliable positioning and fixing devices for easy disassembly and installation. Meanwhile, the air tank and the injection pipe should be reasonably designed to ensure uniform airflow distribution and reduce local pressure loss.

8. Regular cleaning and maintenance: Regularly clean the spray pipe and air tank to prevent dust and impurities from clogging the nozzles and affecting the spray effect. In addition, the overall structure, fasteners and seals of the dust collector should be inspected regularly, and faulty parts should be repaired or replaced to ensure the stability and reliability of the equipment.

9. Correct installation and use of filter bags: The installation of filter bags should be correct, with consistent stitching directions to avoid wear and leakage caused by improper installation. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the tension of the filter bags is moderate, neither too loose nor too tight, to guarantee good filtration effect and extend the service life of the filter bags.

10. Adopt offline dust cleaning technology: Offline dust cleaning technology can prevent the secondary dust flying caused by online dust cleaning, improve the dust cleaning effect and extend the service life of the filter bags.

Through the above measures, the service life of the bag filter pulse valve can be effectively prolonged, and the operational efficiency and stability of the dust removal system can be improved.
