MMOexp Last Epoch: Requirements Before Choosing a Master Class

After speaking with Last Epoch gold Elder Gaspar, you'll be presented with the opportunity to choose one of three Master Classes tied to your character's base class. This decision permanently shapes the direction of your build, granting access to new skill trees, abilities, and bonuses that set you apart from other players who chose differently.
Requirements Before Choosing a Master Class
While reaching the End of Time unlocks the feature, there's another important requirement to keep in mind. You must invest at least 20 Passive Points into your base class before you can select a Mastery. These points are earned gradually by completing quests and leveling up your character.
It's important to take your time here, because the Mastery choice is permanent. Once selected, your class specialization cannot be undone. However, there is some flexibility-Passive Points you've placed within your Mastery tree can be respecced later by visiting the appropriate NPC in town. This allows you to refine your build within your chosen specialization without being locked into mistakes forever.
Master Classes for Each Base Class
Every base class in Last Epoch offers three Master Classes. Each one caters to a different playstyle and power fantasy, giving you a wide range of options for both solo and group content. Here's a breakdown of the available choices:
Acolyte
The Acolyte is a spellcaster who leans into dark, forbidden magic. Players drawn to necrotic or shadow-themed abilities will find plenty to explore here. Its three Master Classes are:
Lich: Focused on self-sustain and high-risk, high-reward damage through life-draining abilities.
Necromancer: Specializes in summoning undead minions to fight alongside you.
Warlock: Wields curses and debuffs to weaken enemies while dealing consistent magical damage.
Mage
