Watch Whiskey: Jacob & Co.’s new luxury collaboration with graffiti artist Alec Monopoly
The often destructive but always crafty folks at Jacob & Co. recently released a rare, perfectly blended Scotch whiskey with the help of street artist and DJ Alec Monopoly.
The latest Jacob & Co. x Alec Monopoly project is the product of Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Arabo's appreciation for fine spirits, especially Scotch whiskey, which he drinks almost exclusively. But where is this whiskey really born? Well, it happened no later than 2016 (maybe even earlier).

In 2016, master blender and spirits legend Andrew Rankin (formerly of Scotch whiskey maker The Bowmore) began selecting the finest Scotch whiskeys from first and second fill casks. The barrels are aged in ex-American oak bourbon barrels for, at the time, a minimum of 26 years.
The whiskeys then spent at least four more years combining their individual flavor profiles and aging together to create the Jacob & Co. The youngest whiskey in this blend is at least 30 years old.

Of course, being a luxury brand through and through, Jacob & Co. didn’t just stop at providing exquisite whiskey for the project; they just had to make it a little more special and visually vibrant.
