Most runs in ARC Raiders end the same way: you get greedy, you get loud, and you get deleted. So I've started treating map knowledge like gear, right up there with meds and ammo, and even stuff like ARC Raiders Coins when you're trying to keep your loadout feeling consistent. One spot that keeps paying off is tucked into the Blue Gate area, perched on top of Pilgrim's Peak. It's not obvious from the ground, and that's kind of the point. You're going up for attachments, not a trophy screenshot, and the route forces you to slow down and think.
Spot the Snitch First
Before you even touch the climb, you've got to check the perimeter for a Snitch drone. People still ignore it. Then they wonder why the whole region wakes up and starts marching toward them. If you see one circling the industrial base, take the second to line up the shot and drop it clean. Don't spray. Don't miss and panic. Once that alarm chain starts, the "quiet loot run" turns into a messy fight you didn't budget for, and you'll be trying to climb while everything with a gun is looking your way.
The Climb Feels Like a Dare
Getting to the stash is basically a test of nerve. You're heading for that long yellow ladder bolted to a grey cylindrical tower, and yeah, it feels like you're climbing into the open sky. The worst part is the animation lock. You can't snap to cover, can't return fire, can't do much besides hope nobody's scoped in on the skyline. At the top, there's usually a zipline jump across to the next tower. It looks cool, sure, but you're a moving target over a white, empty drop. If your heart rate doesn't spike there, you're lying.
What You're Actually Up There For
On the far tower, you'll find a green military container that can spawn solid little upgrades. One run showed an Angled Grip I, and the reaction was pretty much a shrug. That's a mistake. A grip that cuts horizontal recoil by 20% changes how a gun settles, especially on weapons like the Toro and the Stitcher. It's not flashy, but it's the kind of attachment that makes your shots stay on a chest instead of skating off into the snow when you're stressed and half-aiming.
Make It Part of Your Rotation
The real value of Pilgrim's Peak is how it lets you build strength without begging for a brawl in the busy ground-level lanes. Clear the Snitch, climb with intention, grab what you can, and get out before the area repopulates. Do that a few times and you'll notice your fights feel more controllable, like your kit is finally working with you instead of against you, which is also why players keep an eye on progression items such as the ARC Raiders Battle pass when they're planning longer sessions.
