The new 5-star Catalyst Kagura's Verity appears

YouTuber Mtashed warned Genshin Impact players that Yae Miko's newest weapon, Kagura's Verity is "worse" than people think. The Gacha creator explains the reason why the Catalyst doesn't work on Lost Ark Boosting all characters.

After several months of waiting, Yae Miko finally made her banner debut with the release the Genshin Impact version 2.5 update. The release will come alongside Genshin Impact's Inazuma hero is her new 5-star weapon Kagura's Verity.

The catalyst's impressive stats have many fans thinking it could be an alternative to the Staff of Homa for elemental users. Genshin YouTuber Mtashed is warning fans that the merchandise may not be as good as it appears at first glance.

On paper, the new 5-star Catalyst Kagura's Verity appears to pack the right punch with its CRIT DMG bonus feature and higher Base ATK statistics. Based on Genshin pro Mtashed it has a flawed gameplay. "Gain this Kagura Dance effect every time you use your elemental talent. If you have only one elemental skill you can apply, for instance a character like Barbara who only has one use and a high cooldown, she would NEVER be able to gain enough value using this skill to really justify the cost," he said. "If you aren't able to get this bonus, you're being left out of a large amount in damage!"

The YouTuber pointed out that many elemental skills are subject to cooldowns, which block your DMG bonus. "When you're using your elemental skill you'll get more damage. Also, if it'sn't some kind of turret making damage, or if you've got four instances of your skill, you're going accumulate three times and cheapest Lost Ark Gold you're not going to get that damage value If you're currently in the process of cooling down."
