GTA Online's April 16–22 event week really leans into the 420 vibe, but it doesn't feel like a lazy theme slapped on top of the usual bonuses. There's actually a decent mix of new content, returning weird stuff, and some pretty solid ways to make money, so it ends up feeling more like a small event than just another weekly reset GTA 5 Modded Accounts.
The biggest addition is Stoner Survival, which takes place at the Senora Desert Trailer Park. The twist is that you can only play it during an in-game window from 4:20 p.m. to 8:20 p.m., which is a bit gimmicky, but honestly kind of fun. It makes the mode feel limited without being annoying. The payouts are surprisingly good too—$4,000 and 2,000 RP per wave, and if you stick it out through all seven waves, you walk away with the High Life 420 Outfit plus around GTA$168,000 and 14,000 RP. It's not the fastest grind in the game, but it's worth running a few times, especially if you want the outfit.
They also added another Hunting Pack (Get Lamar) map—this one is labeled IV—and brought back the previous versions, so there's a bit more variety there. On top of that, Peyote Plants are back again, which means you can run around as animals for a while. It's always a bit chaotic, especially when mixed with the occasional Halloween-style weather that shows up during certain hours. The whole thing gives the week a slightly unhinged, festival-like feel rather than a normal update.
Where things really get interesting is the bonuses. Stoner Survival and the new Hunting Pack map are paying out 4X GTA$ and RP, and Pizza Delivery is also getting the same boost. First Dose and Last Dose missions are at 3X, while Weed Sell Missions and Nightclub organic goods are doubled. It's a pretty nice spread, since it doesn't force you into one activity. You can grind missions, run businesses, or just mess around with the new mode and still make decent money.
There are some easy freebies too. Just logging in gets you the Black LD Organics Tee, and if you're signed up for Rockstar's emails, you'll get the Multicolor 420 Festival Outfit within a couple of days. The weekly challenge is tied to Stoner Survival—clear five waves, and you'll unlock the Sasquatch Outfit plus GTA$420,000, which is about as on-theme as it gets. Between that and the returning High Life 420 Outfit, there's actually more cosmetic stuff than usual this week.
The vehicle side of things is pretty standard, even if there's been a bit of confusion between early previews and what's actually live. Some people are seeing the BF Club as the Prize Ride, while others mention the Western Reever as the podium vehicle. Either way, it's the usual setup with rotating cars, test rides, and dealership stock, so nothing too surprising there.
Discounts also line up with the theme. There are price cuts on weed-related businesses and upgrades, along with green cosmetics, armor, and throwables. It feels like Rockstar is pushing players to actually use the business bonuses instead of just sitting on stock, which makes sense for this kind of event GTA 5 Money buy.
Overall, this week stands out more than most. It's not just about boosted payouts—it actually has a clear identity, and everything kind of ties together. Between the new survival mode, the solid bonuses, and the extra cosmetics, it's definitely worth jumping in, even if it's just for a few sessions instead of a full grind.
