MMOexp: It let players trap players in an endless death loop

Elden Ring players have discovered plenty of ways to be a nuisance to one another in PVP However, one flaw that was discovered on PC was particularly sloppy. It let players trap players in an endless death loop that would effectively damage their saves. It was not ideal! Thankfully, developer FromSoftware finally addressed the bug in a tiny update to Elden Ring Runes the game that was made available earlier today.
 
"Fixed a glitch in multiplayer that allowed players to use teleportation to the wrong map coordinates," reads one of the notes found in the mini-1.03.2 patch. Bandai Namco didn't elaborate on how the bug worked in the first place, or whether those who used it would be banned, or what happens to players it already played on. The company didn't respond immediately to a request for comment.
 
It was a PSA from an Elden Ring news account warning users about the exploit went up on Twitter last week on March 18. "There's an exploit that's being used on PC where hackers will corrupt the save file of your game while you're infiltrated," it read. "First they'll cause a crash to your game. When you open it again your character will continuously falling to best place to buy elden ring items death. ..."
